I’m Melissa and I’m from Kansas City, MO, a cowtown, and have lived here all of my life. I’ll never forget my first pair of Levi’s bell bottoms I got in the 70s and I’ve been wearing them ever since! Platform shoes are my other true love and fashion in general. I started making and selling clothing in the 80s and found out that it is my life’s passion. Here at Made4Walkin you’ll see my favorite styles from my hippie beginnings to my gypsy Grateful Dead days and of course my cowtown Kansas City roots.
